Further tidying of how updates reach the site.
Some housekeeping to how the site is published, nothing you will notice.
The site is now called Cork Table Top, refreshed everywhere from the logo to the emails we send. New members verify their email address before joining tables, RSVPing or using the shop and library, which keeps the community trustworthy. Your avatar now shows up beside your posts, comments and RSVPs, with a stylish initial for anyone who has not uploaded a picture yet.
Fixed some odd borders and spacing around the banner at the top of profile pages.
A small fix so the sidebar menu opens and closes cleanly.
Big batch of quality-of-life features. You can now @mention other members in comments and they will get a notification, with a handy bell to catch up on anything you missed. Sign in with Apple joined the sign-in options, bulletin posts can include images, and post authors can lock their comment sections or limit replies.
You can now sign in using either your email address or your username, whichever you remember. We also improved our behind-the-scenes monitoring so we can spot problems sooner.
Behind the scenes we laid the foundations for the site to send you emails, plus some hosting improvements to keep everything running smoothly.
You can now upload images for your profile, your table, game nights and shop products, with tasteful defaults for anything left blank. The library gained a suggestion box and a waitlist for popular items, bulletin posts can be sorted into categories, and tables can note which game system they play.
